Evacuation lifted after train derailment

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

An evacuation pit in order early Sunday morning has been lifted for Bladenboro which is a town about 3 hours east of Charlotte.

A train carrying hazardous materials derailed Saturday afternoon.

Crews say that none of those materials are leaking now.

No one was hurt. But, as many as 400 nearby residents had to leave their homes.
