Tornado Watch in effect until 2 a.m.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF)- According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, NC a Tornado Watch is in effect for the entire area until 2 a.m.

A tornado watch is issued when weather conditions are favorable for tornadoes.

In the case of a tornado take shelter on the lowest level of your home inside an interior room and stay away from windows.

The WMBF Storm Team is monitoring the radar and will continue to keep you updated if conditions deteriorate.
