Warm temperatures to continue through Wed., but storms on the way

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Today will be absolutely gorgeous, WMBF News Meteorologist Marla Branson says, and unseasonably warm, but a strong storm system could be moving in by Wednesday night.

Temperatures will continue to rise through the morning hours, Branson says, with a 10 degree jump in temperatures between 10 a.m. and lunchtime. The Grand Strand will see temperatures in the upper-60s and lower 70s, while there will be widespread 70s across the Pee Dee.

Wednesday is, by and large, looking like a great day, Branson says.

"But once we head into the overnight hours Wednesday, we could be faced with some gusty winds, even some damaging winds," Branson says.
