Man injured in shooting at Conway home Sunday night

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – One person in a Conway home was apparently shot in the leg Sunday night; police responded and found several bullet holes in the house.

At about 8 p.m. Sunday night, Conway Police responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Hiland Avenue in Conway, according to a news release from the department. On arrival, officers found several bullet holes in the house, and a shattered glass front door.

The victim inside the home with an apparent gunshot to his right leg was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released, the report stated.

The residents told police they were inside playing video games when they heard several gunshots, and one person was struck in the leg.
