LITTLE RIVER, SC (WMBF) - After piecing together the details
of a purportedly drunken altercation, Horry County Police have placed a Little
River woman behind bars.
Though the details are fuzzy, the incident report from Horry
County Police indicates some sort of argument took place between 47-year-old
Veronica "Ronnie" Turner and her boyfriend in their apartment on Golf Colony
Lane Thursday night.
When police arrived they found the boyfriend with a stab
wound to his shoulder area, and he was "very boisterous and completely
uncooperative…and used racial slurs directed toward
[responding officer]."
When a witness pointed the officers in the right direction,
they found blood on the wall beside Turner's apartment door. Inside, Turner was
incoherently lying on the couch with a bloody knife and nearly empty bottle of Gin
nearby.
Neighbors claim the boyfriend knocked on their door and said
he had been stabbed by Turner, at the same time scaring a mother and her son.
After restraining both Turner and her boyfriend and
transferring them to Seacoast Hospital for treatment, Turner was taken into
custody and charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated
nature. She remained incarcerated Friday afternoon with no bond.
