LORIS, SC (WMBF) – An undercover narcotics operation run by the Horry County Police Department resulted in the arrest of eight people in the Loris area Thursday, officials confirmed.
After multiple complains concerning drug activity in an area of Loris known as "The Bottom," detectives with the department's Narcotics and Vice Section, officers with the Street Crimes Unit, and agents from the 15th Judicial Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the undercover operation, according to a news release from Horry County Police.
Eight people were arrested as a result of the successful operation. According to the news release, they are:
Jeremy Jamal Bromell, 22 - He resides in the Loris section of Horry County. He is currently out of jail on bond. Charge: Failure to Appear
Tony Conner, 63 - He resides in the Loris section of Horry County. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Attempting to Possess Drugs
Ricky Lee Shaw, 49 - He resides in the Loris section of Horry County. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Attempting to Possess Drugs
Quangte Denise Alston, 29 - She resides in the Longs section of Horry County. She is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Attempting to Possess Drugs
Fulecia Ebron Daniels, 34 - She resides in the Loris section of Horry County. She is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Attempting to Possess Drugs
George W. Bellinger, 56 - He resides in the Loris section of Horry County. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Attempting to Possess Drugs
Judy Mae Barnes Curry, 55 - She resides in the Loris section of Horry County. She is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Attempting to Possess Drugs
Harrison Ranenell , 66 - He resides in the Loris section of Horry County. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Public Disorderly Conduct
