HORRY COUNTY (WMBF) - Another day out on the streets of Horry County for Sergeant Jeff Benton means another chance to put a bad guy behind bars, and today he hopes tips will lead deputies to 30-year-old Adrienne Connor.

Records show Conner has pending charges for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, and now he's wanted for attempted murder against her. According to authorities, in January of 2012, she woke up to find him unexpectedly insider her home on Half Pint Road in the Longs sections of the county. The sheriff's office says he started a fight, left, then allegedly fired four shots into the house with a handgun.

Sgt. Benton says domestic violence hurts everyone. "It's not just the person that you harm, it's their family, it's their friends, and they want closure from this, as well," says Benton, who also wants closure for the victim of 28-year-old Andrew Ebanks.

Ebanks is wanted for assault and battery with intent to kill. According to the Horry County Police crime reports, Ebanks attacked another man back in January of 2008. Records show Ebanks stabbed the man under his arm and beat him with a bat over an argument the two had on the phone. Ebanks' last known address is on Poinsett Street in North Myrtle Beach. He previously pleaded guilty and served time for armed robbery back in 2004.

"If Mr. Ebanks or Mr. Connor are watching this program, do the right thing," says Benton. "Make the citizens of Horry County and the surrounding area feel safer by turning yourself in!"
