Police look for suspect in Conway pizza shop burglary

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Conway Police say a man burglarized a Papa John's Pizza in Conway early Friday morning, and made off with loose change left in the register.

At about 2:30 a.m. on Friday, January 18, Conway Police officers responded to the Papa John's Pizza at 2246 E. Highway 501, where an alarm was sounding, officials state in a news release.

Once on scene, officers noticed a stack of plastic cartons knocked over and saw damage to the lock on the rear entry door, the release states. Officers reviewed the store's surveillance video, which showed a white man entering the business through the rear and taking loose change left in the cash register.
