Undercover officer arrest woman for prostitution

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - An undercover officer with the Myrtle Beach Police Department is responsible for the arrest of a Myrtle Beach woman, who has been charged with prostitution.

The incident report states that undercover officer was driving in the area of 21st Avenue South and Yaupon Drive Monday around 7:19 p.m. when he spotted a woman walking on the street.

That woman, 39-year-old Helen Lynn Corbin, waved the officer into a parking lot and got into the passenger seat of his car.

During their conversation, which was being recorded, the officer told Corbin he only had "thirty-five or forty dollars," to which she replied, "that will get you everything."

Corbin was arrested and charged with prostitution.
