MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Just days after the premiere of WMBF News' new segment highlighting wanted criminals, one of "Horry County's Most Wanted" is back behind bars.
Thomas Brandon Crudo, 19, was picked up by county police Sunday morning after someone called in a tip to his location just after midnight, according to Sgt. Benton with the Horry County Sheriff's Office. Crudo was wanted for first degree burglary, among other charges, Benton said, and was considered one of the top three criminals that the sheriff's office wanted to capture.
Sgt. Benton told WMBF News he is glad that in the first week after the premiere of "Horry County's Most Wanted," a dangerous criminal is off the street.
Crudo has been issued a bond for $30,000, but a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on separate charges is holding him J. Reuben Long Detention Center for a second bond hearing.
