RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) -
Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for two men who shot a person while trying to force their way into a home.
Deputy Curtis Wilson says just before midnight Saturday, two people were sitting outside a house in the 8400 block of Old Percival Road when a car pulled up.
Wilson says the people ran inside the house when two men got out of the vehicle carrying handguns. The men tried to force their way inside the house.
Wilson says while trying to force his way in, one of the men fired several shots at the house and hit the victim in the torso.
The gunmen took off.
The victim was taken to Palmetto Health Richland with what Wilson described as non-life- threatening injuries.
