Ceddrick Shaw (Source: Florence Police)FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Police in Florence are on the hunt for an attempted murder suspect they say threatened two men outside a bar.
The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Ceddrick Antwon Shaw of Lamar.
Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff's Office say Shaw got into an argument with a man at the Easy Street Bar on North Dargan Street on Dec. 29, 2012.
Shaw then left the bar and walked to his vehicle, retrieving some object witnesses could not identify. Then Shaw waiting for his adversary to exit the bar and struck him in the face with a gun.
That blow, investigators say, caused the gun to discharge, striking another man in the face.
That's when Shaw pointed the gun in the first victim's face and attempted to shot, but when the gun jammed, his victim took that opportunity to run away.
Shaw is wanted for two counts of attempted murder. Anyone
with information about Shaw is asked to call Florence Police, Crime Stoppers
or your local law enforcement office.
