2 suspects steal cigarettes, cigars from store overnight

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Two men smashed the window of a convenience store in Myrtle Beach with a rock early this morning and made off with an estimated $1,500 worth of cigarettes and cigars, police reports state.

At about 2:37 a.m., one suspect is seen on surveillance camera throwing a rock through the entry door of the Scotchman convenience store at 1173 Seaboard St., according to a Myrtle Beach police report. The other suspect then takes a trash bag and both men load the bag with cigarettes and cigars, the report states. About a minute later, both suspects exit the store and appear to head south on foot.

Officers arrived at the store this morning and reviewed the surveillance video with the store's manager.
