CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Conway Police placed South Conway Elementary School under lock down Wednesday afternoon.
Police spokeswoman Catina Hipp says the school was locked down after they received a call that shots were fired in the area.
Police did find bullet holes in a vehicle on Jordan Circle, and continued their investigation on Ray Lane, a street directly behind the elementary school. No one was injured and police are still looking for a motive and a suspect.
The lock down was lifted by police just ten minutes after they responded.
