Clemson's last second win in Atlanta drew an average of 8,557,000 million viewers on a 5.6 household coverage rating. South Carolina's late comeback win in Tampa the next day drew an average of 7,583,000 million viewers on a 4.9 household coverage rating.
Both teams finished ranked in the top 10 in the final USA Today Coaches Poll thanks to their wins. The Gamecocks ranked an all-time high 7th, while the Tigers were voted 9th, their highest final ranking in over 20 years.
