(WMBF) "The Biggest Loser" returns to NBC for its 14th season with a two-night premiere on January 6 and 7 and more than just its contestants will have the chance to participate in this season's weight loss challenge.

"The Biggest Loser: Challenge America" will feature an online weight loss gateway for viewers to help them join in on the show's revolutionary health movement.

"The all new portal – www.biggestloser.com -- is the go-to destination for comprehensive and interactive weight-loss tools that have never been offered before on the site, bringing "The Biggest Loser" lifestyle from the hit NBC show right to viewers' homes," according to a press release by NBC.

For free, weight loss hopefuls can log on to view meal plans, an exercise plan and community challenges as well as a tool to help track your goals and progress.

Those who sign up for the Premier Membership, available January 9 following the season 14 premiere, will have access to additional weight loss tools. Customized meal plans, access to over 500 recipes, personalized fitness video programs, exclusive "Biggest Loser" insider info and special offers and discounts are all perks of Premiere Membership.

"With more than one third of adults in the United States considered obese, it's critical to engage the adult population in making healthy choices in their own lives," NBC said.

As an added bonus to the new interactive program, 250 fans who participate in Challenge America could be rewarded with two tickets to the live season finale on March 18.

This all new season will also concentrate on childhood obesity by featuring children participants along with the adult contestants for the first time in the series' history.

The interactive season kicks off on Sunday at 9 p.m. with a two hour episode and again on Monday for an additional two hours from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
