Suspect wanted in Florence shooting

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) Police are looking for a man responsible for a shooting on East Pine Street in Florence on Saturday.

The incident occurred after the suspect passed the victim and his passenger's parked car on the 600 Block of East Pine Street near Howard Street and parked down the road. The suspect got out of his car and came up behind the two people in the car and fired shots into the vehicle, according to Maj. Carlos Raines of the Florence Police Department.

The man in the vehicle was shot in the arm, the woman was not injured.

The shooter fled the scene and has not yet been identified.
