Green Sea Rd. robbery, one in custody

LORIS, SC (WMBF) - Police have made an arrest in an armed robbery near Loris.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. Saturday on Green Sea Road.

Horry County Police arrested Lapoleon Cooper who lives in the area where the robbery occurred.

Cooper was taken into J. Reuben Detention Center and faces charges of simple possession of marijuana, unlawful carrying of pistol, and possession of a controlled substance.

Shortly after the robbery, a car matching the description of the suspects' was found at the Fire Up gas station on US 701.

The three other suspects in the car are still on the run.
