CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Authorities have located the two young children reportedly abducted from the Mount Croghan area.

Officials with SLED say 5-year-old Dennis Matthew Penny II and 2-year-old Grace Elizabeth Penny were abducted from Chesterfield County on Thursday morning around 7:30 a.m.

About an hour after the AMBER Alert was issued, Perry was spotted in his white 2005 GMC Sierra. A chase ensued and eventually ended with the man in custody.

Just after 12 p.m., SLED said the children were located and the suspect, 37-year-old Dennis Matthew Penny II, was taken into custody in Union County, NC. Authorities have not said what charges Penny may face.

Further details about the motivation of this abduction are not yet available.
