Pedestrian, identified in Natl. Cemetery Rd. accident

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - On Dec. 19 a fatal accident was reported in Florence County on National Cemetery Road around 8 p.m.

The accident occurred when the driver of the 2001 Subaru was going west on Natl. Cemetery Rd.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the pedestrian, Mark Moore, a 41 year-old male also from Florence, was lying in the roadway.

The driver hit Moore and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

This accident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
