Colder and windy Friday ahead

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Showers are moving through the area tonight, but the bigger story is the winds and the colder air in store for Friday. Winds Thursday evening gusted to 35 miles per hour and on Friday you can expect winds to be sustained 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts over 40! If you have any light weight lawn furniture or Christmas decorations, you may want to secure them or bring them inside. Friday will be drier but colder with highs only in the low to mid 50s.
