NEWTOWN, CT (WFSB) -
Volunteers are hoping some caring pets could help those grieving.
A group from the Chicago area brought in a team of specially trained therapists to help start the healing process.
Those therapists are 10 golden retrievers.
These "comfort dogs" and more than a dozen handlers from Lutheran Church Charities will be in Newtown all week.
The dogs can help people process their grief.
