Purse snatching caught on video

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Police in Horry County are looking for an alleged purse snatcher and need your help identifying the suspect.

Photo surveillance captured images of the man suspected of stealing a purse from behind the counter at PJs Liquor Store on Highway 544.

The store's clerk was distracted by a female when the purse was stolen, says HCPD spokesman Sgt. Robert Kegler.

If you can identify the suspect, contact Horry County Police by calling 915-TIPS.
