Teen dies from blow to head at Mullins club - WMBFNews.com, Myrtle Beach/Florence SC, Weather

MULLINS, SC (AP) - Authorities say a 19-year-old Benedict College student has died after collapsing at a nightclub in Mullins.

Investigators said Keivonte Waters appeared to suffer some kind of blow to the head early Sunday morning and died a short time later at the hospital.

Mullins Police says Walters was involved in some kind of disturbance, but they aren't sure exactly what happened.

An autopsy has been ordered to help determine the cause of death and whether the case is investigated as a homicide.
