MARLBORO COUNTY (WMBF) - A man is still on the loose after breaking into a home in Marlboro Co. Tuesday night.
Police need your help identifying him.
According to Sheriff Fred Knight , the Marlboro County Sheriffs Office were called to a home Tuesday night around 8pm on Dundee Drive in Bennettsville, SC.
The
suspect had a knife, and stole cash and jewelry from the home.
One person in the home was assaulted by the suspect and received minor injuries.
The suspect is
described to be African American, Native American or bi-racial.
He stands approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs around 140
to 150 pounds and appeared to be between 17 to 20 years old.
He had on jeans and a dark
colored hooded sweatshirt or jacket and a white t-shirt around his head or
face, at the time of the crime.
Sheriff Knight said, "This is a case where we need
some help from you, the public. We are working very hard and we feel that we
have collected some good evidence so far. This person is very violent and
dangerous and we are asking you to call with any information. We are now
following up on leads and interviewing additional witnesses. We feel this
drawing is going to be a huge asset to us and helping to get this person
arrested and behind bars. Thank you again for any assistance."
The MCSO is asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information to please call 911 or the MCSO at 843-479-5605.
They are offering a reward in connection to the arrest
and conviction of the suspect.
