COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - Aynor native T.J. Johnson has been named second team All-SEC by the league's coaches. Johnson has started every game over the last four seasons at South Carolina.
Earlier this year, Johnson set the USC record for most consecutive starts, his streak currently sits at 52 games.
Joining Johnson on the All-SEC squad from Carolina is sophomore defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and return special Ace Sanders on the first team. While senior safety D.J. Swearing was named second team All-SEC.
Johnson and the Gamecocks will wrap up their season on January 1st in the Outback Bowl against Michigan.
