Conway woman forged signatures for drugs

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – A Conway woman purchased, sold, and illegally wrote prescriptions for Oxycodone and Roxycodone, according to the US States Attorney's Office.

Julie Hardee Winnell, age 37, is being charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.

Winnell was selling and buying the controlled substances as well as forging prescriptions for others so they could get the drugs.

Winnell faces a maximum 20 years in prison and $1 million fine if found guilty.
