Man in stable condition after Hartsville shooting

HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) – Police in Hartsville have not yet named a suspect in the shooting that injured one man Tuesday night.

Hartsville Police Chief James Hudson says the shots were fired sometime between 10:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Hartwood Village Apartments on Carolina Avenue.

The victim, a 28-year-old male, was shot in stomach in the parking lot outside the apartments, and is in stable condition, Chief Hudson reports.

Hartsville city officials believe this shooting may have been drug-related.
