Fire destroys Little River home

Little River, SC (WMBF) Fire investigators are working to figure out what caused a fire that destroyed a home on South Horse Shoe Road in Little River.

Horry County Fire Rescue Officials say the fire started around 10:00 Thursday night at an empty home in the 4100 Block of Horse Shoe Road.

No one was hurt, but neighbors reported hearing a loud boom shortly before fire enveloped the home.

Crews from North Myrtle Beach and Calabash also responded to battle the fire.

Fire investigator say it will take 4 or 5 days to figure out what caused the fire.
