HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - If you skip the Thanksgiving Day turkey nap for Black Friday shopping the details below can help you map out your shopping route.  

Tanger Outlets: Highway 501 and Highway 17 Locations

The Tanger Outlets are not allowing a big Thanksgiving meal slow them down, stores will be opening Thursday at 10 p.m. The Tanger Outlet locations will remain open until 9 p.m. Friday.


           Thursday, 10 p.m. through 3 a.m.

  • A Deals at Dark Pass will give shoppers 20 percent off at participating stores.
  • A Moonlight Savings Pass for 20 percent off multi-use coupon is also available for download on both the regular and mobile websites. A digital version will be sent by email.

          Black Friday , 3 a.m. through 6 a.m.

  • A Deals at Dawn Savings Pass will give shoppers 30 percent off at participating stores. These passes are also available for pick up or download.

If you want to take advantage of any of the Tanger Outlet's Black Friday deals the passes will only be available for pick up or download until Thursday, Nov. 21.

Myrtle Beach Mall

Retailers have the option to open up at 12 a.m. Friday, call ahead to see if the store on your list will be open.

Black Friday, 12 a.m.

  • Belk will open

Black Friday, 5 a.m.

  • The mall, along with Bass Pro Shop will be open

Black Friday, 6 a.m.

  • JcPenney opens


  • Shoppers can receive goodie bags while supplies last.
  • Black Friday from 5 a.m. until 7 a.m. mall goers can enjoy a free cup of coffee, while supplies last.
  • Santa will make a guest appearance at Bass Pro Shop for free pictures
  • Shoppers can also enjoy holiday entertainment

Coastal Grand Mall

Black Friday, 12 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Coastal Grand Mall will have 65 of its 100 stores open at 12 a.m. on Black Friday for the first time in the mall's history. 

Inlet Square Mall

Thursday, 8 p.m. – 3 a.m. and Black Friday 5 a.m. – 11 p.m.

  • Kmart will be open for shoppers

Black Friday, 12 a.m.- 10 p.m.

  • Belk opens its doors

Black Friday, 6 a.m.- 11 p.m.

  • JcPenney will be open

Black Friday, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

  • Steinmart welcomes shoppers

If Santa's elves don't drop off the items you need at these stores, Inlet Square Mall's general hours are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday.

Drink some coffee with dessert on Thanksgiving because Walmart starts what it's calling its biggest Black Friday yet on Thursday night.


Walmart's Black Friday ad highlights items on special during certain hours of the night.

  • 8 p.m.- Items like game systems, video games, movies, children's toys and home appliances are featured.
  • 10 p.m.- Shoppers receive deals on electronic items like phones and cameras
  • 5 a.m.- Shoppers will be able to get additional deals on smartphone purchases, TVs, sporting goods, jewelry, decorations and auto care

The Toys R Us Black Friday ad is 32 pages, including 16 pages with over 200 doorbuster offers. Most of the products in the ad are 50 to 60 percent off. There is also a section of the ad highlighting 2-day sale items. 


Black Friday, 9 a.m.


Costco will celebrate three days of savings on Nov. 23, 24 and 25. Some deal items include brand-name TVs such as Samsung and Sharp, $50 off TomTom VIA 1605TM 6" GPS models, $70 off Canon's HF-R300 HD camcorder and much more throughout the warehouse.

Sam's Club

Black Friday, 7 a.m.


Sam's Club Black Friday deals include savings on items from DVDs at $9.98 each to LG's 47" Class 3D LED TV and Soundbar Bundle for $779. Laptops, desktops, printers, game consoles, luggage, jewelry and tablets are also among the items shoppers can save on this Black Friday.
