Report: Man sexually assaults girl during sleepover

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Nearly one month after filing a police report, a suspect has been arrested in a sexual assault that police say occurred during a sleepover.

The police report was filed with the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety on Oct. 13 by the victim's parents.

The victim had spent the evening at a sleepover, and reports that at some time during the night, a man entered the room and tried to put his hands between her legs.

The man left the room after the victim began to cry, but she claims he said he loved her. He also said she wasn't allowed to talk about what happened.

After further investigation and interviews, police took 28-year-old Keith Lee Green into custody Monday morning. Green has been charged with lewd act, committing or attempting lewd act upon child under 14.

His bail has not been set.
