FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - A Kingstree man is in police custody for the second time in a matter of days for not complying with a trespass order.
Booking records show 34-year-old James Scott of Kingstree was charged with threatening life, person or family of public official, teacher and principal on Thursday, Nov. 8.
Scott was released from custody the next day and put on trespass notice, according to Florence Police spokesman Major Carlos Raines.
That means that despite the fact that Scott's child attends Royall Elementary School, he is not allowed to be on the property.
So when James Scott was spotted on Monday, he was charged with trespassing on school grounds.
On Monday afternoon, Scott remained in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
