FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff's Office can thank forensic evidence and photo identification for linking a suspect to a burglary in Pamplico.

The crime occurred on Keefe Road in Pamplico on Monday, Nov. 5. Investigators on the case say two suspects entered the house and stole electronics and a wallet full of credit cards.

One of the residents of the home returned while the burglary was taking place, and one of the suspects is said to have pointed a gun at them.

Through forensic evidence and a positive photo lineup, investigators were able to link 22-year-old Eric Benjamin Myers, II of Florence to the crime.

Investigators arrested Myers on Friday charged him with burglary and pointing and presenting a firearm. Myers was being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing before a Circuit Court Judge.

Right now the second suspect remains at large. Anyone with knowledge or information on the identity or location of the remaining suspect is asked to contact the Florence County Sheriff's Office at (843) 665-2121, ext. 360 or Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at 1-888-CRIME- SC.
