Near freezing temperatures hit coast

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Cold weather has settled into the Carolinas and inland areas will be near the freezing mark Thursday morning.

Clear skies, light winds and plenty of cool, dry air will set the stage for temperatures near the coast to be in the lower to middle 30s as you head out the door.

We'll see a bit of a warm up by Thursday afternoon with highs in the lower 60s. The 70s will eventually return by the weekend. Check out your extended 10 day forecast on the Storm Team Weather App.
