NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man entered the Circle K Convenience Store in North Myrtle Beach Monday night, and after placing a beer on the counter, pulled a gun on the cashier and demanded money.

According to a police report from the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety, a white male went into the convenience store located at 1701 Hwy 17 South around 8:15 p.m. Monday.

The man walked to the back cooler and selected a 22 oz. bottle of Bud Light before heading to the register. After placing the bottle on the counter, the man pulled out a small black handgun, and demanded the clerk to hand over all the money in the drawer.

The clerk gave the suspect all of the cash from the register and the gunman then fled the store with the cash, and the beer. The man was reportedly running north when he left the building. Police checked the area but did not find the suspect.

The total amount of cash documented on the police report that was stolen from the store was $60. With the $2 estimated cost of the beer, the culprit is wanted for armed robbery, kidnapping, and use of a weapon during a violent crime for a $62 tab.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspected robber. If you can identify the suspect, please call the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety at 843-280-5612.
