Horry County Schools name Teachers of the Year

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County Schools is proud to announce the newly-named Teachers of the Year.

Each of the honorees was elected by their peers at their school and will apply to be considered as a one of 10 semi-finalists, which will be interviewed by a panel and asked to produce artifacts of student achievement.

Following interviews, five finalists will be selected and the Horry County Teacher of the Year will be named at the Teacher of the Year banquet on May 7.

The chosen winners are:
