NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man vacationing in North Myrtle Beach was reported missing after he drove away from his hotel, possibly disoriented from side effects of a recent medical condition.

Public Information Officer for North Myrtle Beach, Pat Dowling, says James Munson, 72, was last seen Thursday evening in the area of 19th Avenue North and North Ocean Boulevard.

Thankfully after hours of searching, Munson was located in the Bennettsville area Saturday morning. How he got there or is current condition were not immediately available.

Munson is vacationing in North Myrtle Beach with his wife. He apparently left in his car around 10:30 pm Thursday from the Peppertree Ocean Club and did not returned. NMB issued a "Be On the Look Out" for alert Thursday night to all Police Departments and also notified NCIC.

Police say Munson is 5'08, approximately 135 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Munson was wearing metal trimmed glasses, a navy blue and white shirt, blue jeans, and a dark green nylon jacket with "Petoskey" on the pocket when he was last seen.

Munson had recently been taking a medication prescribed by his doctor that left him feeling disoriented, as reported to police. Munson's doctor took him off that medication, which lead to a more severe case of Munson feeling confused.

Munson was reportedly driving a 2009 white Toyota Camry with South Carolina license plate of EIR-711.
