Marion County stabbing, homicide investigation

MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The Marion County Sheriff's Investigators are investigating a homicide by stabbing.

Marion County Sheriff Mark Richardson tells WMBF News that the stabbing happened around 8:00 p.m. Friday evening near Elizabeth Loop.

Richardson says the victim is 59-year-old Lacey Johnson, Sr. of Mullins.

Marion County Sheriff's Investigators have arrested 48-year-old Donna Faye Long and charged her with murder.

The SLED Crime Scene Unit is also assisting the Marion County Sheriff's Office in this investigation.
