Home invasion suspects held victim at gunpoint

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The sheriff's office in Florence County is investigating a home invasion which occurred early Friday morning on Daniel Street.

Investigators on the case say two masked gunmen allegedly broke into the residence, struck one of the victims on the back of the head and tied them up.

The other victim in the house was reportedly held at gunpoint and made to go room to room searching for valuables. That victim escaped the home and called for assistance.

The victim struck in the head received medical treatment at an area hospital and was released.
