US 701 blocked as SCHP responds to accident

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) The South Carolina Highway Patrol is on the scene of an accident with injuries at 4001 U.S. Highway 701, about a half mile south of Pitch Landing Road.

According to their website, the accident occurred just after 11p.m. Thursday night. U.S. Highway 701 is blocked as crews are responding to the scene.

WMBF News has a crew on the way to the scene and will provide more information as it becomes available.
