Police look for suspect in Scotchman armed robbery

SOCASTEE, SC (WMBF) - Horry County Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Scotchman gas station located at 5010 Socastee Boulevard.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, police say a white male wearing a dark hoody pulled a gun on a clerk.

At this point the amount of cash the suspect made off with is unknown. There is no vehicle description at this time.

Horry County Police are working to obtain surveillance video to learn more about this case.

WMBF News is continuing to follow this story and will provide information as it becomes available.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Horry County Police.
