DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The sheriff's office in Darlington County needs your help locating a stolen truck.

Captain Andy Locklair with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office says the 17' 2010 Ford U-Haul truck was taken on the night of Tuesday, Oct. 16, from Jack's Radiator Service on Hwy 52.

Investigators say that it may have been spotted Wednesday night as the alleged thieves tried to cut a fence at a small engine shop on the same street.

Locklair explains that the bandits fled the area when the alarm was activated.

The U-Haul truck bears a horse and buggy photo on the side and the name of Quebec.
