Cab driver robbed in Socastee

SOCASTEE, SC (WMBF) - A cab driver is out $75 Monday morning after he was robbed in Socastee Sunday night.

The incident happened off of Foley Road in Socastee Sunday night when the robber ran off with the money after taking it from the driver.

Horry County Police say that the cab driver took them back to the scene of the crime but they weren't able to locate anything that would help them in discovering a suspect.

That driver wasn't injured in the robbery. If you were in the area of Foley Road Sunday night and may have seen something regarding the crime, contact Horry County Police at 843-915-5110.
