Armed robbery suspect demands oxycontin

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Police in Conway are looking for the man they say held pharmacy employees at gunpoint and demanded drugs.

The suspect, as described by police spokeswoman Catina Hipp, was white male standing around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds.

When the man entered the Medicine Mart Friday afternoon around 5 p.m., he was noted to be wearing a long sleeve shirt, jeans and a green and white hat.

The man is believed to have walked up to the counter, pointing a gun at the employees and demanding oxycotin.

Anyone with any information concerning this incident is asked to contact the Conway Police Department.
