The marathon is limited to 3,000 participants, while the half marathon offers spots to the first 5,000 entries.MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - If you're planning to spend your Valentine's Day weekend running in the Myrtle Beach Marathon, you have one week to register before fees increase.
The 16th Annual Bi-Lo Myrtle Beach Marathon and Half Marathon will be held February 16, 2013. Currently, runners can register for the races for $80 or $70, respectively. However, the fees jump to $100 and $90 on Oct. 16.
The marathon is limited to 3,000 participants, while the half marathon offers spots to the first 5,000 entries. The registration cut-off date for both events is Feb. 6, 2013, and neither race will offer registration the weekend of the event.
Starting Feb. 15, the weekend's events start with the Ripley's Aquarium Family Fun Run with a $15 registration fee, and a 5K, limited to 1,500 entries will also take place Feb. 15.
