MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Despite the calm fall bike rally in Myrtle Beach, the South Carolina Department of Public Safety states there were six fatalities on the state's roadways over the weekend.
According to a press release from the SCDPS, six people were killed while traveling through South Carolina from Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. until Oct. 7, at midnight. The list below details the circumstances around each crash.

As of Oct. 7, 610 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 642 highway deaths in this same time period in 2011.
Of the 409 motor vehicle occupants who have died in 2012, 232 were not wearing seat belts.
Through midnight Oct. 7, 76 pedestrians, 85 motorcyclists and 12 bicyclists have died on state roads and highways.
