MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - One of three suspects is now facing charges after a man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint following a moped trade.

The arranged moped trade took place in Myrtle Beach in late September, when the victim reported to Myrtle Beach Police the potential buyer brought two friends with him to make the deal.

The moped owners were discussing the deal outside that afternoon, and returned to the victim's home later in the night unannounced when a small bag of cocaine like substance fell out of the buyer's pocket.

The victim says he didn't appear to notice. The deal was completed and everyone left.

The report states the drugs fell on the bed, and when that suspect returned a few minutes later to retrieve them they weren't there. The victim retains, however, that he didn't steal them.

When the suspect returned, he was pounding on the door, shouting, "Where's my [expletive]?"

According to the victim, the suspect even forced him and his friend to remove their clothes to assure they weren't hiding the bag of drugs on them before searching through his things.

When the suspect didn't find the drugs in the victim's place, he pulled a black handgun and ripped the phone out of the wall. The report states one of the suspect's friends took cash, approximately $35, out of the victim's wallet and punched him before they fled the scene.

When officers arrived they found redness and swelling on the victim's face, but he said he did not want to be treated by EMS.

When asked to give a description of the suspects, all that the victim or his friend could tell police was there were two black males and a black female with the "street name of Star."

The suspect involved in the moped trade identified as 31-year-old Renwick Dassan Mose. Mose was detained by Myrtle Beach Police following a traffic stop early Thursday morning, and while in the jail, was served warrants for his involvement with this moped trade.

Mose is now charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, possession of a controlled substance, manufacture and distribution of crack cocaine and driving under suspension.
