NMB burglary suspect caught on video

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police in North Myrtle Beach are looking for a suspected burglar after his image was captured on surveillance video.

According to City spokesman Pat Dowling, images show a white male subject breaking the back window and entering the shop at Hawaiian Rumble Putt-Putt during the early morning hours on Sunday, Sept. 9.

The incident report indicates a police officer in the area was alerted to the possible burglary after hearing the business's alarm and after noting the broken door, he called for backup. When the business owner arrived, they watching the video surveillance and discovered the alleged burglary cut himself on the glass and stole a Dr. Pepper.

The damage to the back door was estimated at around $200.

The man has short hair and was wearing a dark blue, short-sleeved shirt, white T-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a dark blue ball cap.
