HCPD: Can you identify these fraud suspects?

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Detectives in Horry County are looking for two men believed to be cashing fake checks in several area Walmart stores.

Sgt. Robert Kegler, spokesman for the Horry County Police Department, says detectives in the Property Crimes Section are investigating several fraud reports, which led them to two unknown black males.

The two men have allegedly been cashing fraudulent checks at Walmart stores, at least six times, and were caught on video surveillance on Sunday, August 5.

Detectives are asking anyone with information leading to the identity of either suspect to contact them at 915-5350. You may also call 915-TIPS if you wish to remain anonymous.

    MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – According to a police report filed Tuesday with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, a 22-year-old woman claims she was a victim of sex trafficking. The woman told police that she was taken from Columbia through Charlotte to Myrtle Beach, where she says she was forced into prostitution.
