GREENWOOD COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – An upstate teenager survived multiple gunshot wounds in a pond hours after being shot.

Fishermen found 17-year-old Daven Osgood partially submerged in water, and called 9-1-1.

According to the police report, Osgood was shot in the chest, head and behind his left ear, and Osgood told police he had been stuck in the pond for more than 17 hours before being found.

Before being flown to the hospital, deputies say Osgood told them who shot him leading to the arrest 17-year-old Marcellus Autrey.

Greenwood County deputies say the shooting was the result of a prior fight between the teens involving a previous robbery.

Friends say the teen is doing well despite at least two surgeries and having his jaw wired shut.

The investigation continues and more charges could be filed.

Several people who live on the side streets of Ocean Blvd. in North Myrtle Beach recently received a letter saying they need to get rid of obstructions in front of their homes.
